Who doesn’t love a tender pork chop smothered in a tasty sauce? No one that I know! Real Mom Kitchen has found anyone either so she posted this delicious and simple recipe on her blog. I can’t recommend this enough!
6 bone-in pork chops
garlic salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Kroger honey BBQ sauce.)
(I didn’t have garlic salt so I Just used garlic powder and salt separately.) Preheat your oven to 300 degrees and spray a 13×9” baking dish with non-stick spray.
Season the chops on both sides with the salt, pepper & garlic powder. Place the chops in the baking dish no more that 2 chops high. Pour the sauce over the chops making sure all of them are covered in sauce.
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. You will know that they are done because they will literally fall off the bone. Yumm!!!
You glad you enjoyed them!
Loved them! They are so tender and delicious.

3+ hrs at 300 deg. I can’t believe they don’t come out as shoe leather.
do you have to cook for 3.5 hours?
Can i put this in the slow cooker and get the same results
I don’t have in pork chops with the bone. I have Ribeye pork chops thin cut. Will this still work? How would I change this recipe to make it work with Thin cut Ribeye chops.
Very very good I had to change the sauce because I cannot have anything with tomato in it I made a white sauce and it was very delicious
How much salt and pepper should i use?
What temperature please.
Bake at what temperature?
This recipe is the best!
Made these. and they do fall off the bone. A now favorite. Am trying the crock pot today for them. We shall see…
Thanks for the recipe. Bone-in chops are so much more flavorful than boneless!
Going to try this tonight. I can not wait to taste it. Always looking for way to spice up our favorites. Thanks for posting. Happy Friday!!
Can’t wait to try this
I made this today using boneless pork chops and a local BBQ sauce. After 3 hrs 15 min, they were falling apart and delicious. Served with the sauce from the baking dish. Thanks for a great and easy recipe.
You should post the temperature for baking these pork chops. I’m going to assume it is 350 degrees
It was in the narrative. Says preheat oven to 300.
Directions state to preheat oven to 300 degrees
HI, I have 3 thick boneless pork chops. Will this recipe work for me. Thank you in advance. Jill
They left look good.
What is oven temp?
He said 300 degree in recipe
How do you make pork chops that are not dry.
300 degrees, people! It’s in the recipe! And no, they don’t come out dry.
What temperature??????????????????
What temperature do you cook these chops at?
At what temperature are they baked for so long ?
Very disappointed, pork chops were dry and overcooked, sticking to the pan almost burnt.
Worst pork chop recipe ever.
Baked 2 1/2 hours, covered at 300 degrees and it started burning. Did a single layer of 3 pork chops in a 7 x 11 pan. Maybe I didn’t use enough sauce? I thought BBQ sauce was supposed to be added at the end of cook time because of the high sugar content.
What degrees for the oven
Going to do this next time I do pork chops. Wondering also…I have some smoked chops…would this work with them?
Does this recipe also apply to boneless pork chops?
Could I just sear these and then bake them without the bbq sauce?
I think they would turn out very dry without some kind of sauce.
